What it is

A Brand Strategy Session is a focused 2h audit of your current brand positioning — what you’re saying, who you’re saying it to, and whether those two things are aligned.

Most businesses that book this aren’t in crisis. They’re at an inflection point: growing, pivoting, or preparing to invest in a rebrand or website, and they want someone to look at what they have and tell them honestly what they’re working with.

What we cover

The session follows a consistent structure: current brand audit, target audience review, messaging clarity, competitive positioning, and where the gaps are. I’ll push on the things that feel vague — not to be difficult, but because vague positioning is usually where the real problem is.

The output is a written recommendations document: what’s working, what isn’t, and a prioritised list of what I’d address first. Not a generic report — specific to your business and what came out of the session.

When this is the right call

Book a Brand Strategy Session if you’re not sure whether your brand needs a full rebuild or just some refinement. It’s the lowest-risk way to get a clear answer before committing to a larger project.

It’s also the right call if you’ve been doing your own brand work and you want an outside read on whether it’s landing — or if you’re about to start a website build and you want the positioning locked before the design starts.

If the session ends with you deciding on a full identity rebuild, the Brand System is the natural next step and I’ll quote it separately. The $600 isn’t credited against it. This is a piece of work in its own right, not a deposit on a bigger one.

Questions, answered.

What's the output?
A written recommendations document — what's working, what isn't, and what I'd do next. Not a slide deck, not a verbal debrief. Something you can act on.
Does this lead into the Brand System?
It can. If the session reveals you need a full identity rebuild, the Brand System is the natural next step and I'll quote it separately. If all you need is clarity, this stands alone.
Does the $600 come off the build?
No. It's a separate piece of work that stands on its own. If it were a discount on the build it would turn into a sales meeting, and it isn't one.
How do I prepare?
I'll send a short brief beforehand — current positioning, target client, what's prompting the review. 20 minutes of thinking on your end before the session makes the 2h significantly more productive.
Remote or in-person?
Both work. Adelaide-based clients often prefer in-person. Remote sessions run on Google Meet or Zoom — no difference in quality.
